Reporting Requirements
MGIC requires that the servicer report this specific program to us in their monthly modification reporting with an identifier for this program.
Use MGIC/Link to report this specific program to MGIC on a monthly basis using our Loan Modification spreadsheet.
Guidelines
MGIC is one of the mortgage insurers referred to in Fannie Mae's Servicing Guide Announcement SVC-2011-03 which addresses the requirements for the Fannie Mae Modification Program. MGIC has provided delegated authority to Fannie Mae for this program for all loans with primary mortgage insurance coverage only (loans with MGIC Pool Insurance coverage do not have delegated authority and must be submitted individually to MGIC for approval).
